Mercy Ships provides the world’s largest charitable floating hospital, sailing directly to the world’s poorest people to deliver life-saving medical care and provide safe, state-of-the-art facilities in which to treat them.
The ship, the Africa Mercy, is almost entirely staffed by volunteers. Our supporters are a vital part of the team, paying for essential medical supplies and ship repairs. Together, we have helped transform the lives of more than 2.54 million people in the poorest countries of the world since 1978.

We are at an exciting point in our history as we prepare to double our operational capacity to reach more people and deliver hope and healing.
We are looking for a Treasurer who is currently operating at CFO level or equivalent. This person will be an excellent communicator, able to build relationships with key stakeholders, present financial information clearly and be an advocate for Mercy Ships at the highest levels.
The successful individual will share our values, have an entrepreneurial approach and the willingness to challenge and support the board.
