Our client is one of the largest hostels in the UK for vulnerable women affected by homelessness. They offer support to women with a range of complex needs, including substance misuse, mental health issues and domestic violence, and provide these support services in a warm, welcoming and secure environment. They are now recruiting for an experienced and passionate Service User Involvement Officer to deliver a variety of service user involvement opportunities to enhance outcomes and opportunities for vulnerable women.

As a Service User Involvement Officer you will establish, facilitate and deliver a range of engagement opportunities to enhance long-term outcomes for vulnerable women. Your role will entail working closely with service users to develop formalised and recognised qualification possibilities for women engaged in service delivery. You will also establish engagement within the local community to facilitate service user involvement both within and surrounding the Project, and will continually work in partnership with a range of relevant agencies with an aim to provide opportunities for women.

To apply for this role, you will have considerable experience of working with vulnerable people in an engagement capacity, and will have significant experience of establishing and developing groups and meetings. You will be confident, creative and have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and will enjoy implementing engagement projects for the benefit of vulnerable service users.

If this sounds like an exciting opportunity, then please apply with a Word copy of your CV (further information will be provided to shortlisted candidates).
