Wood Green is on a quest to do more for people and pets.

Established in 1924, Wood Green, The Animals Charity has grown to become one of the UK’s leading animal welfare charities. Our vision is of a world where all pets are well cared for in loving homes for life.

At the core of our work, we find loving new homes for around 5,500 animals per year, from cats and dogs to rabbits, mice, guinea pigs, chickens, ferrets and goats. Our work doesn’t stop there, however; we promote responsible pet ownership by providing support, guidance and education to members of the public. Working in partnership with like-minded charities in the UK and beyond, we aim to share our valuable knowledge and set high standards of animal welfare.
