Our advisory client based in Hammersmith and Fulham are currently seeking an experienced Generalist Caseworker to deliver debt and welfare advice to a range of service users in order to address debt, prevent homelessness and help vulnerable clients sustain their tenancies.
This role will sit within our client's ROOF+ Project, which works with renters, owners, occupiers and families. The ROOT+ project applies financial capability solutions within advice delivery and is delivered both on site and via outreach. As a Generalist Caseworker your role will entail working with a broad range of clients (including social/private tenants and owner occupiers) across the borough, and developing links with a number of partners to increase the availability of financial capability information with the community.
The ideal candidate for this role will be self-servicing in the production of correspondence and will possess previous experience of delivering generalist advice (particularly debt and welfare) to a wide spectrum of people. You will have experience of effectively managing your own caseload, meeting project targets, and delivering advice in an outreach context. Overall you will be organised, approachable, and deeply passionate about providing a quality advisory service for a range of service users.
Please note this is initially a temporary role for 3 months (subject to performance), working 30 hours a week across 4 days
